Noticed Franklin didn't start the inning - instead came in after the leadoff double. He IS still the actual closer, right?

That was an extremely quick finish - double and a walkoff bomb in back to back at-bats.

On the off chance that this Oklahoma-Missouri softball game is still going in an hour, I assume they'll bump it to the deuce in favor of the Sunday Night Rangers-Yanks game?

Glad to see I'm not the first to bash on Franklin once again!

Just got home so first chance to reiterate what I've already said a few times this year, Franklin is a bum.

1 save in 5 opportunities this early in the season is just pathetic.

Tony needs to get him out of the closers role asap, this is ridiculous.

He has cost us 4 games in the standings already, this Cardinals team is going to have its hands full as it is keeping up with the Reds, we can't have Franklin giving away wins when he comes in for the 9th in a tight game.

The longer Tony waits to make a change in the closers role (needs to be Sanchez IMO he is the one guy in our pen who has what I would consider closer stuff - can K guys with ease -, but I wouldn't complain if Boggs got a shot either), the hole we're in gets deeper.

But this team isn't the 2004 Cardinals where they ran away with the division even with Izzy blowing some saves, this team is going to have to fight the Reds all the way and ultimately the 4 games hes already blown could be extremely costly at the end of the year.

A Little late, But yeah they did. But I expect more from our so called "Ace".
Our Middle relief is terrible once again, But our lefties need to start hitting... Pena/Colvin(I know he was used in PH appearance but still).
