Well, when I checked espn boxscore it said Pujols was 0-2, now after I read your message I went back and they had 1-2..

11-1 Houston...Cubs have run up the white flag on this one (and not the one with the W on it, either) at the plate, on the mound, and in the field.

3-0 M's on a Langerhans HR. And Felix is probably shaking his head right now, wondering where this offense has been all of his life. Only on the days you don't pitch Felix, only on the days you don't pitch.

More free baseball. I think the Royals have actually played 15 or 16 games worth of ball this year with all of these extra innings.

The Padres must lead the league in bone-headed game changing errors. My gosh.

I may be a bit premature here, but I see a lot of Felix Hernandez in Michael Pineda. The most impressive part of Pineda is his pin point control, catcher hardly has to move his glove, and has 11 of 14 first pitch strikes tonight. And this past inning allowed back-to-back base runners to start the inning and showed his poise by not allowing either one to advance any further, a pop out and 2 strike outs. He has shown the ability to work in and out of trouble, I like that. Very impressive showing thus far.

Wow, I thought Kubel had the walkoff.

                      Edit: Valencia gets it instead.

Man Pineda reminds me so much of Felix it isn't even funny. Hell he even has the slanted cap, and chin fuzz going for him. When (and if) we actually get an offense teams will be shaking in their boots when they have to go up against Felix, and Felix Jr. I'm very excited over the future of our pitching staff, wish I could say the same about our offense though.

Poop. Tejada got lit up tonight. Oh well, Francis looked good again.

Seems strange that my regional coverage is Giants/Dodgers instead of Mariners/Jays.
