Rather large "pro-Red Sox" contingent out in Oakland from the sounds of this game.

I hope Matt Wieters builds on the last few days instead of revert back to his old potential bust self. He made an adjustment with his leg kick and it's doing wonders.

He should be talked about more as one of the best pitchers in the game.

He's been a little lucky, though. That ERA will get above 2 at some point.

No doubt it will eventually go above 2, that's just the nature of the game usually

The O's scored all 11 runs last night with 2 outs. Including 4 runs scored after there were 2 outs and nobody on.

Twins haven't even scored more than 5 runs in a game yet.

Need to get something going here soon.

Morneau has yet to homer. 53 ABs without a homer, and his only XBHs are doubles, to which there are 5.

Add to that your leader in OBP is Jason Kubel, and there's an explanation for such a disatrous offense. The entire club has 6 HRs, Tulo has 7.

Both the Cubs and Cards are scheduled for day-night doubleheaders due to rainouts yesterday.

Well, can't win them all and last night was a prime game to lose with...Bruce Chen on the mound?

Well, whatever. Thankfully, the losing streak breaker is on the mound tonight, so we should have no problems.

And Alex Gordon...wow. guy is really coming into his own. Best defensive LF in the game right now, IMO.

The Brewers are making some great defensive plays in this game.

I knew we couldn't keep holding that Philly offense down.

Polanco exits stage left and now it's tied at 3's. Blergh.

That's pretty classy right there. I wish more ballplayers would do things like that even if they don't mean a word that's printed on the paper.
