Cubs do it again. After the two runs ... bases loaded no outs ... ZERO runs. In fact three straight strikeouts.

Great game tonight, 3-3, bottom of the 8th, we have 1 on, and 1 out. I'm not enjoying the game as much though as I fell asleep for a little cuz I'm so dead tired.

Cubs are done though. Veres is the pitcher of choice for the eighth?
The difference is 3 runs scored with 2 outs for the Braves. The Cubs blew a multitude of chances with runners in scoring position with LESS than 2 out. Braves earned this one.
Cubs are still in the driver's seat though, IMO. This was the only pitching matchup of the series I did not like, and had we executed, the Braves 5 runs still probably wouldn't have won them the game.
Kudos to the Braves. They executed when the needed to tonight. Cubs ...
