I am in DC for a conference this week and next and staying a few blocks from nationals stadium...really hoping tonight's game goes as I plan on being in attendance to see strasburg and huddy.

Awesome, SF. We need your mojo, lol.

Working so far. Nice little boost for Huddy to begin. 3-0 Braves early on.

      Our playoffs have basically begun.

Anyone notice how ridiculously close Matt Kemp is to the triple crown?

What happened to those base-stealing, high on-base guys who used to thrive atop major league lineups? Guess what: They're gone.

Yep. And this why I think he should now have the NL MVP crown on lock. I don't care that his team has been hovering around the .500 mark out of playoff contention... the individual numbers Matt Kemp has put up this season has been beyond ridiculous. Not to mention he has also racked up quite a few steals and fields his position very well. A no-brainer choice in my book.

Agreed. It's amazing to me he hasn't been talked about more with the Numbers he has been putting up.

And congrats to any Brewers fans out there in OS-land on the division title.

                        Huge. HUGE.

Braves magic number goes from 6 to 3 in two days.

Really didn't expect to beat Strasburg today. And I REALLY didn't expect the Cubs to beat Carpenter.

Nobody but Tribe fans care, but Jim Thome went 3-4 tonight with a home run, a double, and an infield single on Jim Thome appreciation night. Then Carlos Santana hit a pinch hit walk off home run on the first pitch he saw.

The home run Thome hit was almost identical to the 511 foot bomb he hit so many years ago.

They didn't. They beat the Cards pen (and most notably Kyle McClellan).
