The minute Castro is traded to the Sox, I'll change my signature to "MGM_BLUE is the greatest poster the Internet has ever known."

Could the BoSox use Castro? Hell yeah. Do they want him? More than likely. Will the Cubs trade him anytime in the near future? Not a snowball's chance in Satan's basement.

And most people, in Chicago especially, wouldn't change their Avatar to a different baseball team just because of a book/movie.

I hope this wasn't sarcasm. Some great players have won LCS and WS MVPs to be sure, but guys like David Eckstein, Scott Brosius, and Craig Counsell have all taken home playoff MVP trophies as well.

It's an indication of a good series, nothing more.

I'm still a little shocked Epstein is gone. It's gonna be weird. Guess I'll have to pick up a Cubs shirt to wear every now and then lol. I'm a big Epstein guy, so I'll watch some Cubby games next season for sure.

There's no way the Cubs give up Castro for anybody, he's the future. The Ryno comparison is ridiculous, the kid is 21 years old, and has a full career ahead of him. If anybody wants to sit and compare them 10 years from now, have at it. And in all seriousness, I don't see us getting much out of Zambrano. We'll eat a chunk of his contract and get one or two prospects

Yeah, I think that is the worst part of the Cards winning the WS for me, that that doucher gets a ring when he has no business being on a major league team. What did he hit like .070 in the playoffs?

Frankly, I hope the first order of business is dumping Zambrano. I don't care, I'll take a couple Marlins prospects for him. Might be able to get at least one good one because of Ozzie's love affair for the big idiot. Need to eliminate all cancers from this team, and he's public enemy number one.

I didn't follow the Cubs much this year, but the one thing that shocked me was Zambrano stayed with them all year. Didn't he start like two fights in the dugout? And at one point was way over weight?

Name it, he's probably done it. Throwing fits on the field, blaming teammates, starting fights and packed his bags when he had a bad outing. The guy is a head case.

Some reason the front office kept allowing him back, but I don't think that will happen again.

Theriot had like one hit in the world series, so that makes me feel alot better. Can't say that I watched one single game all postseason though.

and if Zambrano wasn't the way he is, he could be a decent middle of the rotation pitcher. I see him doing well with the Marlins, Ozzie will keep him under control. But I don't want him in Chicago, not after last year. I'll take whatever I can get for him.
