That was about the sickest @#$*(&$%)(*ing thing that I have ever seen. And it wasn't even a Yankee who won the game for them. Boone is really a Reds player that was basically sold to the Yankees. Another WS bought by the Yankees...that's all it is. It's the sickest thing in sports today. It's a corruption of true sport.

Uh..here we go again.....
So every team that makes moves and gets players..those players then really aren't on the new team they go to... And just like ESPN said...What about all the other teams that have huge payrolls???? The "bought" a championship so yesterday....
Hell they even did a little piece on Boston: Paid big money to get Pedro...then they got more good hitters...etc..etc... If they would have won it would they have "boght" the chanpionship? What about when the diamondbacks won it.. what happened there...OHHHHH! I see..only when they win does the money they pay matter..if they lose(80's and 2/3rds of the 90's) you never hear a word...

I agree. We can't blame the big market teams for spending money. If they have it, why shouldn't they be able to spend it? Blame MLB for not having a salary cap.
