Any 19 yr old should be given a grace period so he can actually mature instead everyone expecting him to act differently. Stanton and Heyward were how old?

Ok, from here on out, I call for the Red Sox to play the remainder of their games on the road.

It's the only place they can win.

Or just play against KC every game. That'd help, too.

Alternating series with the Royals and Twins would certainly be good for the team's morale....and record.

              ....that is seriously a JOKE.
I'm glad he admitted it. I get tired of baseball players acting like the entire free world is idiots and don't see when somebody is throwing at somebody. The fact that Zimmerman didn't owe up to what he did which was clear cut a bean ball is an example of this.

I'm still trying to remember that time that Houston Astros pitcher threw at somebody twice and missed both times and got the hook for f'in that up.

Its worked for the Angels. Over 1/3 of their games have been against KC/Min and they account for just under half their wins.

We get to see soon if the Rockies missed again on a first round pitcher. Friedrich got called up to see what he's got since it cant get any worse. Hopefully it works out with him and Alex White.

That makes it 2 first round picks trying to settle into the rotation with Friedrich and White. Just saw an MLB article where they listed Rockies starters having a .308 average against them.

Who was the White Sox pitcher that admitted to the press that Ozzie Guillen told him to throw at someone?

Not sure who the pitcher was, but Ozzie himself said he was telling his pitchers to throw at batters a few years ago.

The one that got sent back to the minors because he wouldn't drill someone?

Jim Leyland said today he thinks Hamels should have got 15 games. I kinda agree with him. In no way does that 5 games send any type of message. Hell he doesn't even miss a start so in no way is he or his team affected by this.

I mean I'm all for tough nose ball and everything but purposely throwing at a man and coming out bragging about it can't be allowed to happen. I mean he didn't hit him with a changeup or a curve he hit him with a 93 mph fastball. What if it fractured a bone in Harper's back then what?? Or what if it slipped out of Hamels hand and hits him in the head then what?? Hamels got off light and lucky as hell.

I also agree with those who Hamels is trying to talk some fake tough guy stuff. Where was his old school welcome to the big leagues beaning of Heyward and Stanton when they played them?? Since when is Cole Hamels the Mr. Tough Guy ambassador of the league?? So is he going to start hitting all rookies now??

I must've missed where Heyward and Stanton were touted as the next big league superstar from ESPN and such well before they even played at the professional level.
