I am pretty sure I could shut out the Dodgers right now...

Amarista flexing those muscles, second homer of the year for the little guy.

First 3 run home run for the Padres this year, and of course Amarista hits it.

The Phillies have traded Jim Thome to the Baltimore Orioles for 2 Single-A prospects. 21 year old pitcher Kyle Simon and 19 year old catcher Gabriel Lino.

The way Thome has been swinging the bat lately, he should definitely help out the Orioles. It's a good move for him. Gets him consistent at-bats to keep his timing that he wouldn't be getting in Philly anymore. He'll be missed here in Philly!

I think it's a good move. The O's basically gave up nothing to get a 41 year old vet who will rake in the AL. He should help out in that DH spot.

Even non Jays fans like their jersey/logo. You'll love their special Canada Day jersey they're wearing tomorrow, even more.

I'm biased but those are awesome

Actually i've noticed even in opposing ballparks there are a lot of people wearing blue jays jerseys. I'm guessing most are Canadians but if so it's good to see this team travel well.

I love the fact that Bobby V used his closer in a 9th inning of a tie game and the game is at Seattle.

That Brian Dozier "single" from yesterday was one of the more amusing baseball moments you'll ever see.

I would have posted the video, but **** if the MLB doesn't make it a chore to actually share any of their ****. So **** 'em, here's a Yahoo link instead.

What's the old Baseball axiom? Watch enough baseball and you might see something you've never seen before.

I think that applies here. Although, this was my favorite part.

As for the opposing view of the play? Well, let's just say it was a very typical Royals response.
''It was clearly a foul ball,'' Pena said. ''Then I saw it spinning back and I saw that it was a fair ball. It's one of those games where things don't go your way.''
If fans in Kansas City had $1 for every time they've heard that quote after a loss, they might be to afford the entire Royals payroll.

LOL at Jake Peavy. All 3 homeruns he gave up were bombs into the 2nd deck. Somehow that's the stadiums fault.

That rf porch is a joke. I can hit a ball in to the 2nd deck there. Chris Iannetta hit one up there earlier this year and didn't even hit the ball that well.

                                I hate that crappy yard.
