As of right now, Trout is hitting Home runs and extra base hits at a faster pace than Harper is. He hit home run #12 today and it was well over 400 feet.

Other than velocity on his throws from the OF, as I said, I don't think there's anything Harper does better.

Screw adding another OFer, how about Aaron Hill?

Also, I feel bad for Edwin Encarnacion over in the AL. Is having a superb year, but couldn't make it on the team.

I sincerely hope we are only grading these two young men right now. If you're claiming Trout is going to be the better player going forward based on performances under the age of 20, it's a little ridiculous.

Regardless, they will both be cornerstones in LA and Washington for the next decade plus. I'm sure it's inevitable they will be compared for the next lord knows how many years, but I for one will just enjoy their talent.

Ah, there's the Twins failure for the day. They waited until the 9th inning for it. Tricky bastards.

Perkins is doing a great job of getting 2 strikes and allowing hits.

I am saying as of right now, there's nothing Harper does better than Trout, despite the fact Harper gets all the pub.

I'll still take Trout for the long haul any day of the week. Just a better, better athlete.

On another note. I just found out Harper was named as an all-star replacement. I now hate the All-Star game more than I ever have.

Delmon Young has homered in 4 straight games, does this raise his trade stock?

Because no one was hurt or anything, it's hilarious all the player's reactions.

I think I'd have the same reaction. Confusion, hitting the deck expecting the worst. Ron Washington thought he was dead. lol

I went to the game last night... Our middle infield and bullpen absolutely suck.
