Wild, exciting, and yet sad day to be a Phillies fan.

The '08 WS run was my first full season as a sports, baseball, and Phillies fan, and I'll always have the memories from Shane and that '08 team.

I guess change just has to happen if they want to be competitive in the coming years. It was a good run but I guess it's just time to move on.

Let's see what RAJ has up his sleeve for today.

Shane Victorino is returning to the organization that drafted him in 1999. The Dodgers acquired Victorino from the Phillies today for starting pitching prospect Ethan Martin and reliever Josh Lindblom, according to Yahoo's Tim Brown (Twitter link).

Dodgers fans, got any info on Martin?

I know Lindblom should be a good late-inning reliever but all I got on Martin is that he was a 1st round pick and is 8-6 at Double-A.
