    i personally would have given it to Pujols, but whatever.

                              If anyone should have been given some consideration for the MVP (as said earlier, it means most valuable player), it should have went to Thome. Although the Phillies withered at the end, the only reason they won a few games in September and made things interesting is because of Thome.

                              Although he should not be placed ahead of Bonds or Pujols, he should have won third place.
