Mike Trout just got 2 RBI's on a sac fly. He really is the chosen one...

21 bombs, 65 rbi, 88 runs, while hitting .345 and stealing 36 bases. Not to mention the defense.

He's better at 21 than I thought he'd ever be. I know he has to come down to earth at some point, there's just no way he can keep up this pace, but I am just going to enjoy the ride.

5 RBI off King Felix for Trout tonight.

Angels are crapping themselves post - All Star Break, at least I can enjoy the season Trout is putting together.

He actually got called up to AA a couple days ago. I think it'd be stupid to bring him up this year anyways.

He's insanely advanced for his age, but calling him up this year would be foolish. I think he'd keep his head above water, but I still wouldn't

Even if he "comes back down to earth" I don't think the drop off would be as much as people might think it would be. He's always had a high BA and a high BABIP in nearly every professional season save for last year's cup-of-coffee with the Angels. He'd still be a .300+ hitter, capable of posting up 30+ doubles and 20+ home runs, stealing perhaps 40 bases while contending for gold gloves. The only hole in his game is his strikeout rate, but as long as he stays productive it doesn't matter.
