He's better at 21 than I thought he'd ever be. I know he has to come down to earth at some point, there's just no way he can keep up this pace, but I am just going to enjoy the ride.

5 RBI off King Felix for Trout tonight.

Angels are crapping themselves post - All Star Break, at least I can enjoy the season Trout is putting together.

He's insanely advanced for his age, but calling him up this year would be foolish. I think he'd keep his head above water, but I still wouldn't

Even if he "comes back down to earth" I don't think the drop off would be as much as people might think it would be. He's always had a high BA and a high BABIP in nearly every professional season save for last year's cup-of-coffee with the Angels. He'd still be a .300+ hitter, capable of posting up 30+ doubles and 20+ home runs, stealing perhaps 40 bases while contending for gold gloves. The only hole in his game is his strikeout rate, but as long as he stays productive it doesn't matter.

            Sabathia to the DL.

            Yankees get Derek Lowe:

Sounds like the plan is to move Phelps to the rotation and have Lowe pitch out of the pen.

Headley is just mashing right now. The Padres need to lock this guy up and see if Gyorko can handle 2B full time or trade Gyorko.

... and meanwhile the Astros continue to not wash their throwback Astrodome jersey's in hope that maybe they can wear them for the rest of the year and sneak a few more wins
                  in the win column.

Only the Astro blue/gold could counter the Rangers baby blue tonight.

I don't think the Nats will ever lose again...down big tonight they rally to win again by one run.

Well, on the bright side, I got to see the Tigers in their awesome throwbacks. Even if it was through a grainy, delayed, laggy online stream.

Mike Trout robs home run, turns it in to a double play.
