Re: 8/20 - 8/26 Game Discussion Thread
Man... and I almost did. LaRoche just put one out to RF with Werth on and it hit the VERY TOP of the metal railing on the short fence and came back in. It actually made the bar bend and then catapulted back in to play. LaRoche thought it was out, naturally, and was on 3rd base before he could do anything. Never seen that before. I captured a screen during replays:

Re: 8/20 - 8/26 Game Discussion Thread
Brewers crushed the Pirates today 7-0. i'm starting to think the Pirates might be done. Even though they are still close in the WC standings they don't look as good.
On the other hand, the Brewers are starting to look like a scary team going forward and for next year. Mark Rogers is really starting to look good. If he can limit early damage like he did today, he could be good next year. It sucks though that he's on an innings limit and may have made his final start of the year.Comment

Re: 8/20 - 8/26 Game Discussion Thread
I leave the room with the score 2-6 Twins to get... something; Not really sure, and then I see Casey Fien exiting the bullpen and the score at 5-6. What?
After a brief bit of rewinding, I see that, as usual, it's all Jeff Gray's fault.Last edited by WinMINTwins; 08-26-2012, 06:05 PM.Minnesota Twins
