    Features are the icing. The gameplay is the cake. If a game isn't that great (ASB/Madden) its not worth playing the game to use the features.

        Agreed.

        And, that said, I still think ASB was a better baseball sim.

                                            And to top it all off, the graphics bake it all together... two of those things in a basically prepared cake are needed, the other isn't. I think WSB 2K3 had both of those important essentials last year... just it was vanilla. And luckily, I wasn't allergic to vanilla. I think next year I MAY start to grow out of more allergies, but as for now I'm stuck with vanilla. ESPN so far for me, even with the lack of information.

                                                        Ive been dedicated to ASB the past 3 or 4 years, i have only tried the other games but I bought and consistently played ASB. This season, as early as it is, MLB 2005 has caught my eye. the animations i feel put ASB to shame, from what ive seen or heard, Im not gettin the Mojo that all that much will be different in this years installment of ASB. there are still 3 months for the other games to convince me otherwise but my EARLY rankings are as follows:
