actually i am glad Franco is back - him & Leiter are my two favorite mets - (besides Vance Wilson, who was awesome to my brother-in-law & sister -- i know it's not much, but they got me a personalized autograph from him - he even told my sister that he promises they will be better next year!!).. i am just upset because i have seen them do well & want them to continue doing so..Comment

hey everyone, jhon franco is a nice guy ,i played baseball with his son j.j franco.I am happy to see him come back for another year.will he be the set up man or the closer.the mets also need a closer.I also agree i like the not free spending.they did that before and they don't want to mess up again.I like mike cameron in center which will help there defense a lot in the out feild. I like the whole middle of the mets defense with kaz, reyes and cameron.thats solid speed.with piazza moving to first accosionly will help make the defense better then it was last year with him behind the plate.i like vance wilson behind there he throws a lot of people out. we still have floyd,hopefully a healthy floyd this year .that will help if he can hit 30 homers this year.wigginton should improve with the bat in the glove this year since it was his first year at 3rd.used to be a 2nd basemen.right feild will be a adventure this year for the mets .thank god not the same for my other ny team.the mets need more pitching though, there guys are getting old.Comment
