      Jeter versus Renteria? As far as intangibles... how many World Series winning hits does Jeter have?

      I give Renteria the nod.

      But I do think Jeter is a better baserunner. Stolen bases aside, I think Jeter is behind only beltran as far as stolen base percentage. But I bet Renteria would be better at avoiding getting knee-dropped, but I don't know if that has anything to do with intangibles.

And those strikeouts are big blackmark on Jeter because he is always hitting in the number 2 spot where it is important to move runners along. Though in fairness to him, the strikeouts have been the knock on the Yankees the past few seasons.
