ok, heres the starters on the NL allstar team last year, most the yankees might be better then the NL allstar team this year. with some of them moving to the american league and some of them moving to the yankees themselves! lets compare...

C-Javy Lopez (now in the American League)
Reserve C- Paul Lo Duca vs Jorge Posada NYY win 1-0
1st-Todd Helton vs. Jason Giambi very close but NL wins 1-1
2nd-Marcus Giles Vs. Aaron Boone NYY win 2-1
3rd-Scott Rolen Vs Arod NYY win 3-1
SS-Edgar Renteria vs Derek Jeter NYY win 4-1
OF-Barry Bonds vs. Bernie Williams NL wins 4-2
OF-Albert Pujols vs Gary Sheffeild another close one but NYY wins 5-2
OF-Gary Sheffeild (now with yankees)
Reserve OF-Andruw Jones vs Matsui NL wins 5-3

SP-Kevin Brown (now with the yankees)
SP- Woody Williams vs Mussina NYY wins 6-3
SP- Russ Ortiz vs Kevin Beown NYY wins 7-3
SP- Mark Prior vs Javier Vasquez NL wins 7-4
SP- Jason Schmidt vs Contreras NL wins 7-5
SP- Kerry Wood vs John Leiber NL wins 7-6

RP- John Smoltz vs Mariano Rivera NL wins 7-7

Yankees Win 8-7
so there you have it, in my opinion, the new york yankees single handedly can beat the national league allstar team.

because he used to play as second base, in fact i think he signed onto the reds as a 2nd baseman. plus, if i were the yankees, i would move him to second, i mean why keep a guy like him on the bench and put a no name in? just my 2 cents tho

keep in mind, this was all "in my opinion". even still, it would be a close game against the NL allstars
