    NL East

Once again, it seems that everyone has already given the division to the Phillies, but I'd watch out for the Braves. Our infield is chocked full of exciting young players (DeRosa, Furcal, Giles, La Roche) and if J.D. Drew is healthy, the outfield is still one of the best in baseball. The Phillies made some good offseason moves, but they did the same last year and all the Braves did was run away with the NL East. What Im saying is until we find out just how good the Phillies are, Id pick the Braves to win the division, thats just me though

Glavine and Millwood last year, Maddux this year, the Braves are left with Russ Ortiz and Mike Hampton carrying the staff. I just don't think it's enough.
The NL East will be a tight race but I'd take the Marlins or Phils over the Braves at this point.

This year's offseason moves was more towards the pitching staff, starting, relief and closing. Different from last year's moves.

Phillies run away with the division.

I see the Phillies possibly running away with it too, as long as Pat Burrell regains his stroke and Jimmy Rollins realizes he should try to hit more balls on the ground.

Even if the above two don't happen, they are guaranteed to win a lot more games because of Billy Wagner.

Billy Wagner means the world to this team. If the Phils had him last year, they win the wild card.

Dont forget about Horacio Ramirez, he is a very good and very young pitcher. Also, Paul Bryd is still on the team and he had 20 wins 2 years ago, if he's healthy, that would be 4 solid starters. If Mazzone can work his magic with John Thomson, the Braves will be cooking. Plus there is super pitching prospect Bubba Nelson, who will be in the rotation by July IMO
