Per the Angels PR dept.
Mike Trout just nabbed his 77th career stolen base. The only A.L. players with more before turning 22: Rickey Henderson and Ty Cobb. #AngelsComment

Vmart earning his money; that works too.
A lot of people reamed the Royals when they redid their pitching staff, but they currently have the best ERA in the AL (I still think Meyers will come back to bite them). Do they have the money to keep Santana and Shields though? I wonder if they should have dealt Santana at the deadline for a 2B...Comment

Re: 8/5 - 8/11 Game Discussion Thread
Royals are at the moment a long shot for the playoffs IMO, they have a rough august starting in a few weeks with 4 vs Boston and 5 vs Detroit then 3 vs the Nats with 1 vs the Rays and September is very rough with 6 vs Cleveland, Detroit and 3 with Texas and 7 with Seattle who they haven't seen yet so they could be a tough matchup
plus Cleveland's SOS is currentley the easiest or 2nd easiest in september, and one of the AL East teams will more then likley grab a spot and KC is a very tough up hill battleComment

Re: 8/5 - 8/11 Game Discussion Thread
Really hope an Orioles hot streak starts tonight in San Diego...they have yet to go on a tear this season, so we're due. Our offense was pretty mediocre in July and we still managed to stay afloat and right in the middle of the race.
I'm doing everything in my power to remain optimistic, but really can KC/CLE/TB all keep this pace up the rest of the season?

Re: 8/5 - 8/11 Game Discussion Thread
This AL race is going to be good times. There are 8 teams (DET, CLE, KC, BAL, TB, BOS, TEX and OAK) fighting for 5 spots. Not like the NL, where all that needs to be decided is which of the two NL central teams are playing in the WC game.Comment

Well I expect the Jays game to be done by the 3rd inning tonight.
Anyways, funny moment in the game last night when the pitcher chased Bautista back to 2nd base

Corey Kluber might be done for the regular season for the indians, injured a finger on throwing hand last night, could mean Danny Salazar will be here to stay after tomorrow but Kluber could come back playoff time if the tribe make it
its too bad the Indians BP haven't lived up to expectations because the starting rotation has pitched very well this year
4 starters with an ERA under 3.90
Masterson-3.27
McAllister-3.47
Kluber-3.54
Kazmir-3.89
