Or maybe go back to Oakland as a veteran #5 starter. I think that'd be a good fit.

The Indians getting to miss Price or Darvish sure makes game 163 a good thing for the Tribe.

Granted, whoever they play will miss a scorching hot Ubaldo...

I guess we'll see what Salazar is made of Wednesday night. Would have preferred Masty or McAllister - but I think Danny will show what he's made of. Plus, the bullpen will have some rest and all arms will be on deck for Tito. Pretty excited. I'm a lifelong fan of the Tribe - I'm 41 and have followed them forever. What this team accomplished this season was amazing, even if ends Wednesday night. From 94 losses last year to 92 wins this year, finishing only ONE game behind Detroit is quite the accomplishment. Biggest one season turnaround since 1985 to 1986. My concerns heading into the offseason is if Ubaldo and Kazmir decide to leave. I also wish we could find another power bat (a guy like Trumbo).

I'm starting to give in to the notion that Terry Francona is one of the best managers ever.
