Not bad for the most part. I agree about the Tigers and Padres. Too much credit given by you to the Pads and the Tigers are better than all those losses you are throwing at them.

Whoever said the Padres aren't that good needs to look again, well, I'll state that they need to prove themselves, but the team will be over .500 at the end of the season. They only way they'll win the division is if the other teams don't get more than 92 wins. And as for the Tigers, they will not lose a 100 games. And the Yankees will win 102, not 106. Khalil Greene will really have to surprise to be the ROTY (he's no bum either), he has a pretty damn good rookie class to matchup in the NL with the likes of Matsui and Jackson to name a few.

BTW, you really need to start counting the number of games teams play, this is like the hundredth time you've had a team playing more than 162 games.

Did I miss something? Did the Padres not lose 98 games last year? They made some decent moves, and I like Ramon Hernandez, but they certainly didn't have a tremendous offseason. Giles is coming off of a dissapointing season. Nevin hasn't been able to stay on the field the last 2 years. Klesko is also coming off of a dissapointing year. Payton had a big year last year, but who knows how much of that was attributed his park.

Wells at his best is a pretty good pitcher, but certainly not an ace. And this is a guy who is fat, old, and out of shape. Who knows how much of the season he'll be at his best. Hitchcock should pitch better now that he's back in the National League, has a spot in the rotation, and doesn't have all the pressure on him, but he still isn't any better than average. After them, you have 3 young guys who should get better, but are very unproven. If Hoffman stays healthy the bullpen should be pretty good though.

Padres won't lose 98 games again, but they still have plenty of questions marks. .500 is a stretch, and in that division isn't anything special anyway.
