    Re: ***MSUSpartanOride's MLB Predictions***

Petco Park was designed to take advantage of the winds that sweep in from the ocean, thus the reason why RF is deep (or so I heard). Most of the construction around the place isn't finished so that may change. Giles really dropped off. I expected him to hit .300, hit around 30 home runs, and drive in a 100. I guess the park just got to the hitter's (except Loretta, 10 of his 15 home runs came at home).

I mean c'mon, even Kaz Ishii can hit a home run there.

The Padres were 42-40 at home this year, PETCO got to them all. As well as Nevin played PETCO still had an affect on his numbers. The park was designed to be a pitchers park not a hitters park.

SBC was designed to be a hitters park, and is almost a pitcher's dream, especially when the lefties are up (when they thought that that 309 right field line would help Bonds oh so well).

But really, I still need to find a site where it shows home runs per game (or home runs total) in each ballpark, and if they have left/center/right field splits of the home run totals, that would just be astounding to see exactly how many RF homers there were at SBC (and Petco for that matter).
          Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60

42-39, they played 81 games at home, not 82. The Park was designed to be a fair ballpark, this season it went towards being a pitchers park unless you face a team loaded with righties (the Cubs). BTW, most of our pitchers did well away from Petco than at Petco... even Jake Peavy I believe.
