    Re: MLB Off-Topic

When you go a game, you've no idea how close a strike/ball was to the plate as there is no displays in the stadium. If it is automated, teams can put a display on the scoreboard so fans at the game can finally see what those at home can.

    Win for the players.
    Win for the fans.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

One of the first things I noticed the first time I sat behind home plate was how hard it was to tell if a ball was truly a strike. Like, ok, a ball right down the middle might be easy to tell but the borderline cases were nearly impossible to tell from my angle so I'm kind of amused by fans yelling and screaming bloody murder about any borderline calls.

With the retirement of Tom Brady, there are now ZERO active professional athlets that were drafted by the Montreal Expos.

Sources say that's allegedly the reason he hasn't fully committed to retirement just yet.

Yeah but he wasn’t drafted by the Expos. He played for Cleveland first and joined their system as a minor league free agent.
