It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Went to the game today. Gotta go see Soto live before they trade him we ended up losing. I hope they don't trade him looking at the rest of our roster we're gonna suck even worse

They already have enough military stuff that I'm glad they went another direction.

                Scherzer..

At least you've seen your team in a World Series.. and won it.

.. it burns though, I get it. To have lived through trading, arguably the greatest lefty of all-time. And to have traded Junior. The sting never really goes away.

The LDS is shaping up to be the "heavyweight battle".

Possibly Yankees vs Jays and Padres vs Dodgers.

This means we're getting Astros vs Mets in the WS after those teams burn each other out doesn't it?

Ugh. I always loved Vin. His voice is just synonymous with baseball.

Back in the PS1 days, he was the voice of Sony's MLB game. I have fond memories of listening to him while I played.

                        RIP.

**** that sucks. I thought he'd outlive us all.

Admittedly I didn't love listening to him (though he'll hold a special place in my heart for calling the 989 MLB games), but I love what he brought the sport and the years that he served as a broadcaster to tell every story imaginable. He sure knew how to fill dead air right.

I'm glad he ended his career on his own terms and the Dodgers honored him throughout that time honorably.

The Dodgers are my third favorite team:

                              1. Astros
                              2. Tie between 27 teams
                              3. Dodgers
                              4. Yankees

That said, Vin Scully will always be the greatest voice in sports to me. Any time I hear his voice, it is worth my time to listen. It was a sad day when he retired, his passing truly is the end of an era.

                                RIP Mr. Scully

he delivered one of my favorite lines from any type of film, ever:
''and tonight, I think he might be able to use that aching old arm one more time...
to push the sun back up in the sky... and give us one more day of summer ''
