Read today that Robinson Cano gets a ring if the Mets, the Padres, or the Braves win it all. Not bad for a .150 hitter who contributed nothing to any of the 3 teams.

Guess I’ll have to root against all 3 now.

Mookie Betts bowled another Perfect Game this morning.

It's nice he has baseball as a hobby.

Debatable. He might've contributed something to Tatis.

I'm rooting for a Mariners/Padres WS. One of those teams better get a ring this year.

I know this would lead to more overlap with games but I wish MLB wouldn’t schedule playoff games so early on a non-Friday weekday.

I can take off work or use some PTO but I feel bad for people in school who can’t get out. If you’re a Seattle fan, your 1st 2 playoff games in 21 years are at 1230 local time on a Tuesday and Thursday.

                Its a complete @#$%ing joke.

Especially considering there are 3 east coast games being played today.

Over/under on 2 years that the LDS becomes a 7-game series?

                  I say two years.

Extend it by 2 games, and while they're at it, cut ST by a few games to make up for it.

I’ve been wanting the LDS to go to Best of 7 for 15 years. With the expansion of the wild card round, Im not sure how you do it without going into November though.

If it went best of 7, what format do you prefer for home field: 2-3-2, 2-2-1-1-1 or 3-3-1. Ive never seen anyone propose 3-3-1.

First off, the Yankees game is in prime time (7:37 first pitch). Secondly, I doubt the MLB is afraid of a Washington/Chicago Thursday night game. There might be more runs scored in the Guardians/Yankees than points scored in the TNF game.

They start about 40 minutes apart as well.

The above was more tongue in cheek, but if the Yanks/Guardians had played they may have outscored the Bears/Commanders.
