To be fair, I haven't even reached first base this year. 🫠

I thought the first manager fired wood be Boone or Nats Martinez, but Pedro might give them both a run for their money. Since Chicago has already failed with LaRussa reboot, maybe its time for a 2005 Ozzie reboot.

I would kill to see Ozzie back.

CHW is kind of just the Plain Jane of the league... at least until they get out of that stadium.

By the way, I don't know if we ever talked about it, but here is what their proposed new stadium would look like:

EDIT: By the way, we can update my graphic haha.

I wish we could fire Martinez and hire Ozzie. Ozzie is probs one of my favorite managers lol.

Larry Lucchino, who won three World Series titles during his tenure as president and CEO of the Red Sox from 2002 to 2015, has died at the age of 78.

He's the one who got the Orioles switched from Memorial Stadium to Camden Yards, as well as getting the Padres into Petco Park.

As going to Sacramento for 3 seasons starting in 2025.

This feels like the Arizona Coyotes situation. Your solution is just going to some 14000 seat place for a few years before moving to Vegas?

Do they become the Sacramento A's? California A's?

Apparently just the A's.... Will be interesting to see how this is handled in the The Show next year.

11:20am: Lindsey Adler of the Wall Street Journal reports that the A’s will not have a city associated with their name for the next three seasons. Rather than the “Sacramento Athletics,” they’ll just be referred to as the Athletics or the A’s, with no city designation.

Awesome if they're going to play at Raley Field/Sutter Health Park. I'll be able to go to plenty of games now that I live up here.

Going from a 60k seat venue to a 10k seater with zero seats in HR territory. The presentation is going to be strange, but somehow less embarrassing.

There may not be any seats, but there is seating (lawn space) in right field beyond the bullpens.

Given they have a year, are they not able to expand seating in Sacramento even slightly so it gets up to 20k?

And now that the news is official, I wonder how much worse it'll get for Oakland games with fans knowing for sure they're gone.

I'm sure they can and will. MLB will likely insist on it. Going to have to put actual seats/stands in the outfield area.
