        Wasn't 1999 25 years ago?

That's the point. 25 years ago was 1999! Doesn't feel like that long.

No, it doesn't. The last twenty years went by twice as fast as the whole ten year Nineties span. I guess time moves slower when you're young lol.

Probably also because the older you are the busier you probably are so days go by faster.

Obviously 2020 messed up everyone's perception of time.

And for me, the fact that fashion, music, tv video quality and things don't feel like they've changed much the last 15 years is also part of it.

Watching a sports clip from 1999 vs 1989, you'll notice the difference. Watch a clip from 2009 vs today, they're both in HD, it looks the same.

This is my take about music, "oldies" sound different, we're talking music from 50+ years ago, the production is just, idunno, you recognize it as oldies. Now people want music from the 90s to be considered oldies, but the sound quality is good. I know this has nothing to do with baseball, but it's OT so I wanted to throw my take in, oldies aren't generational

Embarrassing, for her and for the game to be associated with this.

                      Embarrassing is right, yikes.

Country singer Ingrid Andress, 32, is entering rehab a day after a widely panned rendition of the national anthem at Monday's MLB Home Run Derby. She said she was drunk for her performance.

                        Red Sox drafted D'Angelo Ortiz...Big Papi's son.

Is he actually going to play in the minors or is this one of those "legacy picks" like when the Jays drafted Roy Halladays son the first time he was eligible after Halladay died.

They said they are treating him like a real prospect. He'll play 2B and some 3B.

A cooler story to that, Tim Wakefields daughter congratulating Ortiz on being drafted as the two grew up together around the Red Sox clubhouse
