You hit a dinger off of Lance McCullers? That's pretty awesome.

Yea. He played for Jesuit. A local powerhouse attended by Brad Radke, Lou Piniella, Shane Robinson, Al Lopez, and Dave Magadan. My school produces talent also. We had Dwight Gooden, Gary Sheffield, Elijah Dukes, Carl Everett, Vance Lovelace, Mike Heath, Chris Ray, and Floyd Youmans.

Not to take anything away from myself but Mccullers was a freshman and I was a senior. His fb, which what he threw me was still touching the low 90s at the time though. I still have that ball along with every other homerun ball I ever hit since machine pitch somewhere at my dads house.

I saw that Don Cherry spot there....It might not work but the Cult of the Don might pull some weight and bring in more votes for Donaldson than we'd otherwise expect. I loved how Don said that Donaldson is #1 in HRs, RBI, AVG, SLG in the American HOCKEY League oye LOL!

            Omar Infante - All-Star starter.

Royals fans are going to get fan voting banished.

Took long enough for it to happen. I think this is great.

Wouldn't be surprised if the MLB does some sneaky business and we see Cabrera magically pass Hosmer, Donaldson pass Moustakas, and Rios drop a spot or two. Also, Nelson Cruz will pass Morales. Crisis averted.

Nope I expect MLB to change to the voting process to where you can only vote in the ballpark and keep fan voting.

I'm just shocked that there are this many people that care this much about the all star game.

If I'm a player, as great as it would be to represent your team, I'm really looking forward to that three days off.

I miss that they took that out. I used to love punching through the paper.

But didn't they get rid of that cause people stuffed ballot box then too or something? And it'd favor the teams with highest attendance(and most home games during the voting period).

Just let fans vote ONCE during the voting period and that's it,but fans are able to change their vote at any time(so if someone they voted for ends up sucking or gets injured, they can change their vote). No 35 times a day for every day stuff. And consider shortening the voting period too. Around this time of year it could start, so you have 2 or so weeks to vote. I mean if all votes are online, not like you need people spending time to count each vote....

Or non Royals fans can step in. Everyone not a Royals fan, should just vote for whoever is directly behind the Royals players on the ballot!

Have you voted? Its already not votes per day anymore. It's 35 votes per address.

I favor some combination of fans and BBWAA voting. The All-Star Game is a showcase for the fans.

$$$$ incentive in their contract, my friend.

                                I'd take an extra $250k.
