Bobby Valentine is an idiot. I turned the Red Sox game tonight just for the hell of because another show was on commercial, and I heard Sutcliff and Boog talking with Valentine about Asia and baseball. And Valentine says that the MLB should set up a division of teams in Asia. How the hell would that work? I mean unless they set up another minor league over there or moved one of the minor leagues they already have over there. But setting up a division that makes no ******* sense.

The man is senile....No wonder he flamed out so spectacularly when he was in Boston.

Im curious to see if Baltimore ever decides to shop Adam Jones. Dude is 29 yrs old making 13Mill a season and is hitting .343 6hr 25 RBI for the season. They lost alot of key players in the offseason so if there far enough back in at the half it could be a tempting piece for a team

I read the Astros are scouting Shark... I would love to see them acquire him to put in the rotation with Keuchel and McHugh.

I've always liked the Astros, would be awesome to see them get back to winning seasons.

A's Coco Crisp to seek a specialist opnion after his neck continues to give him trouble. Sounds like he aggrivated it on a diving catch attempt in Houston. Crisp says he may be back later this year or next.

Hutchison is pretty good though, he's pitching like he has the last few years.

He`s an enormous disappointment. ERA over 5.00 the second half of last season and it`s over 6.00 this season. He has great talent but he`s going through some giant growing pains. I`m not completely sold on him.

Edit: My bad. His ERA was 4.96 in the second half last year.

MLB Tonight is much better and more entertaining than Baseball Tonight. I haven't watched ESPN's broadcast since MLBTN came out (there's a reason they've won a several Emmy's)

                    Statement 3
Once you begin watching MLBTN, you will grow to love Greg Amsinger, disregard Harold Reynolds, have a secret crush on Lauren Shehadi and moderately enjoy (maybe entertainingly tolerate?) the shtick of Brian Kenny as the setting they use him fits him.

                    Perfect post.

I don't know if I love Lauren Shehadi or Heidi Watney more. Luckily in my mind, there's room for both.

Strikes out around 8-9 batters per 9, walks around 3, gives up about a dinger. His HR/FB is elevated this year and his LOB% is way too low.

He seems like roughly league average, which at 24 is very useful.

Speaking of MLBN, I enjoy Chris "Mad Dog" Russo. I might he in the minority though.

I'm with you on this one. Try and tune out his noise and actually LISTEN to him and he's pretty smart with his baseball knowledge.

Yeah, I caught his show one day and had to turn it off. If you can stand that for more than 1 minute, then more power to you.
