edit: now I can't find it, I remember the graphic on TV about him being #3 behind them, maybe I have the stat wrong, but being in a pitchers park it'd be cool to see his "no doubters"
I'm getting the information from here, where you can see that 11 of his 19 home runs were no-doubters (gone in any ballpark).

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    The top 10 no-doubters in 2024 were:

    1. Ohtani, Shohei (33)
    2. Judge, Aaron (31)
    3. Soto, Juan (26)
    4. Rooker, Brent (24)
    5. Schwarber, Kyle (23)
    6. Alonso, Pete (22)
    7. Stanton, Giancarlo (21)
    8. Witt Jr., Bobby (21)
    9. Santander, Anthony (20)
    10. Ozuna, Marcell (19)

Among players who hit 30+ HR last year, the no-doubter percentage leaders (top 10) are as follows:

    1. Witt Jr., Bobby (65.6%)
    2. Stanton, Giancarlo (61.8%)
    3. Rooker, Brent (61.5%)
    4. Schwarber, Kyle (59%)
    5. Ohtani, Shohei (57.9%)
    6. Alonso, Pete (57.9%)
    7. Soto, Juan (57.8%)
    8. Raleigh, Cal (55.9%)
    9. Lindor, Francisco (51.4%)
    10. Judge, Aaron (50.8%)

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I remember when an ex-website called HitTrackerOnline used to provide me data I could use to determine home runs that would only go out in the ballpark which they hit it (aka "lucky home runs"). This site uses it for those that go out in only 1-7 ballparks, but I'd like just the one if possible again. That's always fun information.

Combining the awards wouldn't be the end of the world, but I don't really see the benefit either.

Setting tradition aside, multiple MVP/Cy Young/ROY winners = more stars for MLB to market.

Not only that, but then the newly added PPI (Prospect Promotion Incentive) would need to be ratified to account for the fact that there would no longer be separate Rookie of the Year league awards.

I've suggested just combining the leagues (so we just have 3 divisions of 10 for now, soon to be 4 divisions of 8 once expansion happens) and it divides based on timezones.

No need for AL and NL.

If I checked correctly, we currently have 14 eastern timezone teams, 8 central timezone teams, 7 Pacific timezone teams, 1 mountain timezone team.

The Pacific (or MLB West) is fine with their 8 (7+Rockies), central is fine with their 8. Meaning next expansion if they just have 2 eastern timezone teams added, you could have 2 eastern timezone exclusive divisions.

Even the way things stand now, you could just combine the east, central, west and although it wouldn't be a perfect solution (Tigers, Guardians, Pirates, Reds are still grouped with central time teams, Astros and Rangers still grouped with Pacific teams), if it's just something for a few years it'll be fine.

MLB unlike NBA and NHL doesn't care about timezones for playoffs, so why not just do 3 divisions of 10 right now, division winners plus top non division winner gets a BYE while the next 8 best teams play the WC.

I must be dense, I don't get it. Who does this benefit? Is r/baseball full of threads in which people bitch about time zones or something? This just sounds like change for the sake of change to me.

I wish it was set up in a way in which there could be any combination of two teams for the WS, not just the current AL vs NL. I would love to have a Mets-Philly WS someday.

Hopefully someone will create that park so we can replace the Trop in our Franchises on 25.
