    Re: MLB Off-Topic

The Rockies currently have a nice farm. Hopefully, a few prospects will be big hits for them.

I'm in the belief that the Giants are for real and will be a threat all year. This makes the West one of the most watched playoff races.

I love and seamlessly watch both MLB Network programs, but what are the biggest differences between MLB Central and MLB Now (besides personalities)?

In other words, which incorporates more:

      - Game highlights
      - Live look-ins
      - Statistics conversation
      - Interviews
      - Diamond Demos
      - Mini-games and gimmicks
      - Front office / Hot stove talk
      - Rules discussion and case studies

I know both of them tend to be before games start in the day so some of them are probably less covered.

I have ideas on some of these, and again for me I can have one on right after the other and not really miss a beat, but I'm guessing the biggest difference would just be the changeover of who is in front of the camera and what studio they're in.

Wrestlemania in Vegas and like WWE does in all cities, they have replica belts for the local sports teams on sale for fans to buy.

The funny thing here, they're selling Oakland As belts. Guess they have to get rid of them somehow, but I wonder what happened to all the Oakland As stuff. Vegas fans probably wouldn't want it if it says Oakland would they?

They ought to give them to villagers in third world countries. Like they did with all of those Super Bowl Champions Bills apparel.

Orlando is supposedly getting serious about their pursuit of a franchise, committing $1.5B in funds to bring a team to town. Barry Larkin seems to be the face of the endeavor. An obvious long shot, but it's picking up steam locally

Did the Rays get their mess squared away?

That seems like an obvious target.

People seem mixed, but I like at least trying a mashup between another local team.

Welp, that's it for the Cubs, it's all down hill for them from here. The White Sox couldn't get a more influential supporter than Chicago favorite son Bob Provost.

Manfred announces that Pete Rose, Shoeless Joe among others have been reinstated (citing that a "lifetime ban" ends once they die).

Which now makes them eligible to be inducted into the HOF.

Today is a great day for this league.

I give the guy a lot of flack, but if Manfred was a big part in making this happen, then major kudos to him.

Wish it happened when Rose was still alive, but here's to hoping he is voted through in 2027.

I'd say the circumstances for which are a bit iffy, though. Not sure how I feel about the Black Sox going in. I also don't want to sound hypocritical for wanting Rose in though. Different circumstances IMO. But if I had to choose, let them have the opportunity to be voted in.

It's definitely not Manfred you should be thanking.

Was the timing intentional since it was Reds vs White Sox series this week?
