They followed it up with biggest home runs. Never knew just how many went past 460 feet. And how close so many were in distance even in different ballparks. It's things like 458.64 feet, next guy us 458.69 feet and so on.

Ugh, this is madness.

Ventura was a great hurler, and I wanted to see what he would do with a bit more pitching finesse, maturity, and even a couple more lbs. He and Fernandez could have ruled the league for the next decade.

I remember Andy Marte in the Braves organization...he simply had bad timing as a 3B since Chipper was a mainstay.

Ventura was a dynamic pitcher, filthy stuff.

Both way too young...very very sad. It certainly is a reminder that death is no respector of persons and it can come at any time to any one.
