As cliche as it is, a lot of these pitchers don't learn how to pitch. They just learn how to throw. No art, no modulation, nothing. It's all physical. And yet some of us are surprised that the physical part will break at some point.

Speaking of pitchers, here's some great stuff:

Yet again, MLB Network chooses to be difficult.

I want to cut the cord from TWC...but I want to watch MLB Network. The two options I'm looking at, Sling.TV and PS Vue, don't have it.

That was amazing...awesome to see Maddux still has the uncle charlie working.

LOL that was a great prank right there. Nice to see Maddux still got some stuff.

I just love all the little things that Maddux was constantly saying to Bryant when standing behind the cage. So great. Typical Maddux.

Ya...I was losing it when he was like "let's try and get it off the barrel...it will give us that sound we want". Bryant's like "that's the goal". Man, I miss the days of Maddux/Glavine/Smoltz...what you saw on that video was the entire atmosphere around those teams.

As a Cubs fan, Maddux's career was nauseating...I loved him as a pitcher, hated that he was in Atlanta.

That video should be of two Cubs legends.

                      Regardless, it was awesome.

Well technically you can call him a Cubs legend. The guy DID play 9 1/2 seasons with them.

Maybe...but it sounds like they are just stating their procedures here. It says in the article the results aren't completed...

Great find. Awesome to see those guys together. I have a feeling there are 2 hall of famers in this video.

You just need to move out of your home market and get MLB TV. Then watch playoff games at the bar with the money you save...oh, nvm about that last part--you're a Braves fan.
