I know there are some in Blue Jays fandom that will cry about Pillar not getting a Gold Glove this year but I can understand it. You don't even have to to use the advanced metrics to tell he dropped off a little bit. Just the eye test alone can tell you he dropped back a bit.

It's awesome that Stroman won. I saw an interview he did talking about how it was always a dream of his to win one and voila, it happened. So congrats to him

I mean what I posted in a way it was surprising to just see these guys leave the teams they've been playing for as long as they have. Not that they were tearing it up & shouldn't have been released or the teams shouldn't have chosen to opt out. No, I've not been living under a rock. You just misunderstood what I meant. Could see the pitch clock finally implemented in the MLB this year.

Jays staying in Dunedin for next 25 years. They're the only team in baseball to never switch facilities.

They're basically building a new stadium with amount of money put in to the renovations. Added seating, making the field size and wall height the exact same as their home stadium, boardwalk around entire stadium, robotic hd cameras around the field, an extra complex with field resembling Rogers Centre dimensions and turf among many more changes.

About time they did this. Had outdated training facilities down there for so long.

There's video footage of Roy flying his plane... He was doing a bunch of dangerous maneuvers, moves that are dangerous even for highly-experienced pilots.

                  So sad.

Was it known he was dealing with cancer? I remember when they signed him this summer, but I don't remember hearing anyone talk about cancer. Was this a new thing? This hot stove is off to a rough start...
