Here's a new random milestone. Last night in the Rangers game, we got the first ever hyphenated surname pitcher/catcher battery as Isaiah Kiner-Falefa was catching for Austin Bibens-Dirkx.

I just learned that Jason Heyward is hitting .381 off the four-seam fastball, ranked third in all of MLB.

That's going to spread very fast and may bring him right back down if he doesn't adjust.

I hate when people get accused, get hella negative press, and when the claims are refuted hardly anyone takes notice.

It turned out to be an old friend of Hanley's that grew up with him in the DR. Dropped his name to the cops thinking they'd just let him go. Yea. *******.

Speaking of ball players and legal action. Anyone see the police recording released last week of Bruce Maxwell's arrest? It's very NSFW. Among many other things, cursing out baseball and the MLB. The dude needs help. I'm embarrassed he's is still on the A's roster.

Big Papi has signed a multi-year deal with FOX Sports.

He worked with them in last year's postseason, but his new deal will have him doing spring training, regular season, postseason, and All-Star coverage, with his 2018 "debut" coming at the All-Star weekend in DC.
