Holy crap....I don't think any of us wants to hear something horrible like a murder for inheritance or something like that.

          Mr. Cub
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

My first thought was suicide, but why would you hold a press conference about that? Any more word on this?

EDIT - I saw this morning that the attorney says his death wasn't unexpected…maybe they are going to announce he was suffering from a disease or something like that.

Maybe he came down with Pneumonia or something like that.

Just a thought. I highly doubt anything nefarious is going on.

You're reading that backwards. The attorney said "His death was not expected".

A disease or pneumonia etc would be natural causes.

RIP Mr Cub. Maybe it was something more random. Like a heart attack or something. Hopefully it wasn't a murder.

I'd think that a heart attack would be classified as a natural cause.

Not natural and hopefully doesn't involve foul play. What's that leave? Overdose?

I hope you're inferring that it's an overdose on medicine......

Ted Lilly does not appear to be a smart man...

It's alledged by the California Department of Insurance that Lilly damaged his RV, which is valued at around $200,000, but did not file a claim until after he purchased insurance on the vehicle. The department’s investigation revealed that Lilly's RV was damaged in a collision sometime last spring. Lilly then sought and received a $4,600 estimate from a local body shop on March 19, but did not purchase insurance until March 24. According to agency spokeswoman Nancy Kincaid, Lilly then filed an insurance claim worth $210,000 on March 28.
