I'm simply surprised time has gone by so fast, but it does feel like Mauer has been in the league for quite a while. I just wonder where that time has gone. Sometimes I had to double-check to make sure I didn't see him slip to pasture from beneath my feet, much like Justin Morneau did. One day he was playing, then I couldn't locate him anywhere.

Decent career. Don't know what his true hype level was set to and for what reasons, but although he'll forever be a great Twin, I can only say he was a solid player. I'll miss him nonetheless.

It was nice. Got videos of everything as well.

And it might. But I doubt it.

I firmly believe we have the advantage over any possible opponent.

I don't care if I'm being overly confident and annoying. This season has been unbelievable to watch unfold.

I don't see how anyone could believe the Red Sox have an advantage over any possible opponent considering the questions surrounding Chris Sale, postseason history of the other starters, and a bullpen that walks too many batters and just flat out stinks at times. Not to mention most the young offensive core has had two consecutive cracks at this without much success to show for it.

Maybe this year will be different.
