    Re: MLB Off-Topic

Man, a week ago I was deadset on making the A's my team in The Show because of Kyler Murray and their uniforms. Now I have to stick with the Braves to use the new uniforms.

They should've used white piping on the red jersey...looks a tad off. Every other jersey has the piping matching the letters on the back.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Some rumors starting to bubble up that Dodgers have broken some international free agency rules, and could be facing a punishment similar to what Atlanta received.

They are saying this happened under Gabe Kapler's watch when he was the Director of Player Development in 2014.

                1. I LOVE the revamped blue jersey for the Braves. That and the cream unis are the best out of their whole uniform set.

                2. Oh boy....That's rough for the Dodgers and i'm not surprised that this happened under Kapler's watch. I just don't like the guy for various reasons.

I know some are against it, but I really hope this happens:

Say what you want about pitch clocks, but it for sure will speed up the game. Lets say there's 300 pitches thrown a game, if we speed up the average time it takes for each pitch by even 2 seconds, that's 10 minutes less of nothing happening a game.

If 10 minutes a game of nothing happening isn't for you then baseball probably isn't the sport for you.

And that has nothing to do with pace of play.

There are parts that should be sped up. Its nonsense it takes like 2 minutes for a pitcher to throw pitch 1 to pitch 2. Whether I'm watching on TV or sitting at the stands, throw the ball.

Just like the reduction of mound visits...everyone screamed about it and it stopped some of the teams that used to have incessant visits (NYY) and nobody really noticed. I almost feel like it can simply be a way to push the outliers (egregious offenders) toward the norm.

If they have it with nobody outs and nobody on only, fine.

Everything else is strategically thought up and necessarily to not have said pitch clock.

Yeah I couldn't care less how long a game of baseball is, but it's the dead time where nothing is happening that grates and would be worth chipping away if you can at as it just makes it harder to get into the game.

I'd be alright with a pitch clock if it was very lenient, like the mound visits allowance, so it more just serves as a reminder that we are actually trying to get on with a game of baseball. It should be more of a "don't take the p***" type rule, like the mound visits

Now that you mentioned it Red piping on the blue definitely would have been the way to go. Either way they look awesome.
