Sounds like the Padres might bring back the brown color scheme in 2020.

Is there a 'dislike' button for all the ugly uniform color returns that I can just press so that they go away? These baby blue and puke brown things are just yuck.

I don't mind the Padres doing it time to time like they have and obviously the look is distinguished which is why it seems to appeal to so many here (plus I think people tend to feel a bit nostalgic, as in if this was a brand new uniform and not a throwback then I don't think it would get quite the praise), but I can't possibly be the only one who rues some of these changes, can I?

Speaking of changes, I never realized until yesterday that the Phillies changed their logo. Their first change since 92. Similar to their prior logo except the bell is blue instead of white and there's no baseball field outline on the logo.

Speaking of the Padres look, imo they've never had one that's stood out in a big way. As long as they don't change to anything bad they'll be fine.

If I could change any logos in baseball, I'd change:
-Pirates/Rockies(both changed to just script logos. Their previous logo was fine)
-Brewers(I think every baseball fan agrees about what their primary look should be. Only holdup I can think of is them waiting for 50th anniversary of move to Milwaukee)
-Rays(their new/old logo they introduced last year should be their primary look)
-Indians(They needed to get rid of their logo, but just having the "Block C logo" seems too generic)

Nah man, I'm waiting for them to go back to the Cleveland Naps. I can picture it now, the logo has a player sleeping inside the "C"

Hell, I'd rather the Padres go back to their brown/yellow uniforms than be generic baseball team 17 in navy and white.

Their introduction of yellow into the uniform even only lasted one season last year before going back to generic.

I think this a cool logo concept though.

That is pretty cool and they could go with a solid red/blue color scheme that reminds folks of Spider-Man.

Though it doesn't match in PETCO Park, I do wish they kept the orange in their jersey. The pinstripes weren't terrible either.

And no, I would not rather have brown.

About time they're changing to brown colored uniforms. It's not like people haven't been asking for this for years.

Wow, MLB said they would waive their rule preventing teams from signing a drafted player to an MLB contract if Murray and the A's can come to a deal. This is going to be an interesting couple of hours.

Asking for $15M and the A's would have to carry him on their 40 man roster. Using an option every year to do so till they run out in 2022. Making him a free agent.

Screw ALL that. Let him walk. His hearts not in baseball.
