Why are you so behind all of these ideas that have no benefit for the consumer and only exist to make the teams money? Bracing for the inevitable, maybe?

Jerseys won't be sold this way anyways. Doesn't impact consumer.

And my expansion idea would benefit consumer. People might say its making teams less deep, but it just gives more opportunities to more players and possibly even adding extra playoff spot leading to more teams being in playoff race.

And not really a money thing, but the pitch clock I think would make it more enjoyable to watch since that eliminates more unnecessary dead time in games.

Well, we all know that whatever sponsor the Nationals end up choosing will be the greatest sponsor you've ever seen. Just ask F.P. Santangelo.

Expanding could also lead to the overall product on the field degrading as teams are less talented through the lineup/rotation. Look at how valuable relievers are at the moment. Imagine how bad bullpens would be if we had even more teams in the league. It's like the talks of potentially expanding the NFL. It is hard enough for 2/3 of the league to even find one competent starting QB. We add more teams and we're just going to have worse play on the field.

Jersey ads don't hurt the consumer either. They're hardly noticeable in the NBA and I'm sure it'll be the same with MLB.

I don't see a big issue from it (cue blah blah slippery slope blah blah).

They may also place Ads on the helmets too. I know some people won't be too happy with that.

Also with Nike now going to be the uniform supplier it has been confirmed the Nike Swoosh will be on every jersey for every team as well. So, there will be a lot going on with the uniforms like the NBA currently.

What you mean you notice that the lasting images of championship memories including jersey sponsors Rakuten and Sun Life or whatever the **** the Raptors were wearing? How dare you.

I wonder how big a deal something must be for the Perpetual Dismissers to care. Maybe one day we'll find out.

I don't view it as any different than when teams have memorial or all-star patches, or postseason patches on their uniforms.

Not really a big deal to me.

Yea, the all-star patches were pretty ugly this year. The guitar on the hats just looked so bad.

To some people I guess they are, but myself, I'm more interested in, and focus more on, the action rather than the attire.

Hey, I'm the same way! I still noticed all of the ugly patches throughout my years of watching the game. They are hard to miss if you sit down for 3 hours to watch a game or two every night.

I notice them too but I don't concern myself with them. I see them and am indifferent to it. I simply don't care that they are there, and the same way when the advertisements are placed on the jerseys.
