If I'm not mistaken, the seats and design are supposed to mimic a sunset on the beach over the ocean.

I don't know about the sunset part, but the seats were definitely designed to match the beach.

I've quite enjoyed my Dodger Stadium experiences, more than Angel Stadium in fact. I think Angel Stadium is a better ballpark, but by experience alone I think I'll put Dodger over Angel.

Angel Stadium is cleaner, safer, generally better designed, friendlier, has better clientele and much better looking chicks overall.

The only benefit Dodger Stadium has to me is that it's closer. But with all traffic it doesn't really make it that much easier.

You have to be dumb to realize nets are a necessity?

I wonder if we are ever going to reach a point where even the outfield seats are protected by nets? I also find it odd that the nets were such a big story because of a little girl getting hurt, but everybody still smiles and loves watching the kids running around chasing balls that are juiced and hit harder during the the HR Derby.

Well sure, if a fan is killed in the outfield from a line drive home run you are destined to see that. They're so knee-jerk reactionary to this suddenly. Probably because of the balls (not that they're aware).

Oh, you mean the kids that aren't 4-year-old girls? The ones that have gloves and are actively watching for balls and are aware that a ball is coming?

So paying attention is the key?

Not trying to start an argument here. I've just always found it funny that the outrage for nets only heats up when a kid is hurt, but no one bats an eye at the kids in the HR Derby that could easily get hurt by those balls that are coming off of the bat at 105-110+ MPH.

There's no need to go down this road again. This horse has been beaten plenty enough. Some people are all for nets, others think fans should be paying more attention.

Honestly I'm surprised a kid out there hasn't gotten decked with one of those line drives. I think it's pretty stupid to have 50 kids out there fighting each other for a ball.

I'm waiting for one of the taller kids to rob a home run. It'll actually be possible down the lines at Dodger Stadium (kid won't have to be tall for that fence).
