Let me add another one. I think we all forget 2008 when Chien-Ming Wang was still a pretty big name he injured his foot running the bases and Hal Steinbrenner made TONS of noise screaming how the DH rule should be in both leagues. If the Yanks can't afford that change than I don't see the Cardinals doing much. It's just part of the game.

The Buster Posey rule was born out of percolating fears about catcher safety as catchers were getting bowled over and treated like tackling dummies by runners so there was an awareness of an issue, especially since most of those injuries were concussion related.

With full-time interleague play, there was a push to make the rules uniform across both leagues (though that has died down some). The MLBPA will never allow the DH to go away, so I think it's inevitable the DH will someday come to the NL.

It will be a sad day if/when that happens.

The only time i've known that to happen anywhere is in Europe where they ban people from going to the matches due to hooliganism. I wonder if the Chisox/O's game will be televised. That would be really eerie to watch.

I was actually planning on driving to Baltimore this weekened to attend the Orioles/Rays games on Saturday and Sunday. Glad I never bought tickets. Too dangerous down there.

The games this weekend were also moved to Tropicana Field anyway and the Orioles will be the home team.

Makes me wonder how much of the regular routine stuff they'll do. I imagine they'll have the anthem, and walk up music, but other than that I'm not sure. What will they put on the jumbotron if anything? They'd need it for replays so teams can decide whether to challenge a call right?

Without the BP video, I'd call it speculation, but... that certainly lends some credence. Huh.

On top of that I read an article which I can't find right now that the Angels had a deal with an NL team but Hamilton nixed it.

                          Sure seems fishy to me.

Hamilton gives no remorse or anything to Moreno...his statement that Moreno "knew what he was getting into" is sheer arrogance and conceit.

I liked Hamilton with Texas...what happened to that humble guy? His support system in Texas is almost gone (especially with Ron Washington out) but at least the Rangers got a bargain for potential superstar production.

I don't know what got into Josh but I don't like who he is now. A self-entitlement and flipping his nose in the air like Moreno was a fool just rubs me the wrong way when Josh was the one who sinned.

I don't deny that but I don't like the egotistical comments from Hamilton like it's not his fault he went into lapse.
