Doesn't come out wrong at all.

It's the truth but is a bitter pill to swallow in this case. Just a terrible story all around but you aren't wrong in saying that.

Different sport but I got high sticked during a road hockey game, had blood flowing everywhere and all they did was give me an ice pack and bandaged me up.

Things were sure different back in the day....

Not really MLB news, but Mike Hessman broke the MiLB HR record last night with his 433rd.

I'm sure people prob forgot this existed until the second they read this post but....

Whatever happened to the whole thing about MLB fining players who step out of the batters box? I don't think a single fine has been handed down all year, and people step out all the time...

Ha you're right I did forget about it but last I heard they were fining players and players were just paying (I want to say David Ortiz was the example I saw). It was never going to be a public fine though I don't think.

I hope he appeals...I mean c'mon that was NOT intentional.

Did they look into the Royals pitchers as well?

I just read the report on HBT. None of the Royals pitchers got fined or suspended.

                          BLECH!

I agree with the Gibbons suspension (he's serving it tonight) but vehemently disagree on the Sanchez ruling.

Ya, Gibbons should be suspended since he did break a rule, but how does Sanchez get fined/suspended but not a single Royals player gets it?

Volquez admitted he hit Donaldson intentionally, and mocks him as well for that, but he gets nothing. Royals hit one of Jays best players AFTER a warning was given, and nothing happens. 2 other times a pitch came within a few inches of drilling Donaldson in the head....nothing happens.

1 Jays pitch which grazes Escobar on his leg..lets suspend/fine Sanchez.

Royals involved in a bench clearing incident with a 3rd team in a span of 4 months(1 with CWS,I think 2-3 with the A's? Now 1 with Jays), so how does reputation not come into play here? Royals are known this season for getting into these incidents, so how are they not getting in trouble at all...
