Not surprising, but obviously you need to have good mix of home grown talent and guys from trades/free agency.

I'm surprised with just how much homegrown talent the Mets have on their roster.

That's one of those graphics that's interesting to look at but doesn't really tell me anything of substance. It needs all the teams in the league.

All teams might be abit much considering rosters change all the time. The graphic is for 25 man rosters as of start of playoffs.

OK, but this graphic doesn't tell me that you "need a good mix of home grown talent and guys from free agency/trades" to make the playoffs because there's nothing to compare it to.

If anything, this graphic is telling me that it really doesn't matter where your players come from.

Meh, infographic is flawed. Jays have players you wouldn't qualify as homegrown since they weren't drafted but it's pretty obvious they developed Bautista/Encarnacion.

Thanks to ''Back To The Future Part II,'' we know the Cubs will win this year's World Series. But what do the next decades hold for Chicago and the rest of baseball? We traveled 30 years into the future to peek at the 2045 Baseball Almanac.

No just no...that's a lie no matter how much I would love that. He is 10000000000000000000000X better than Farrell.

I bought a ticket on stubhub for mets game 3 before the time was announced. It says on my ticket it's for a 1 o'clock game even though the game was scheduled for 8 or 830 on Monday. I shouldn't have issues getting in right?
