Yep. I was getting at it giving pitchers an advantage. It's still a performance enhancing park.

I just saw this AM that Peter Gammons is stating there is a list of PED users coming out next week (Gordon was on this list apparently). This stuff is never going to end...

Is he saying a list of guys were caught this spring training and will all face their suspensions now or that someone is revealing a list that no one knows?

Because the former makes a lot of sense while the latter feels like it won't do much to change anything but get people to speculate about others.

The former...his tweet said that executives have been notified of players that were busted and the full list will be released this coming week. Gordon was the first on the list.

Skimmed it before I gave up (not much time), but was this the game that was being aired on ESPN or something that they delayed for Mirabelli to get there because Wakefield was starting? If so, I remember that very well... and can't bloody believe that it was ten years ago already!

The punishment must be more severe.

                  A year ban, at minimum.

I'd like to see something done to the value of the contract; that may never happen but these players see no issue with signing a $50MM contract, getting banned for a year and making the other $30-$40MM after they get back.

It may have been ESPN, I don't remember. But it was the one they kept delaying for Mirabelli to get to the field. And Wake was starting. It was Damon's first game in Boston, I think.

This is never going to end is it? Dee Gordon isn't a HUGE name but he's big enough so i'm fearing that we're going to hear about guys of his caliber or bigger in terms of popular stature.

This could be a very ugly week.

My only hope is it's a big list, with plenty of teams represented. I suspect there are fan bases out there who think their teams are "clean" compared to others. Which is ludicrous.

He means Damon's first game back in Boston as a Yankee...Damon first started playing with Boston in 2002 and 2006 was his first year with the Yankees.
