Why would a fellow player refuse to sign an autograph though? Even so, it takes 5 seconds...

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Speaking of him, I still think that was one of worst trades in Jays franchise history.

Trade away Shawn Green for Mondesi....really?!? Jays from 94 onwards sucked, but at least the 2000s could've had one of best 3-4 combos in baseball combined with a Cy Young ace leading the rotation. How diff things could've been....

        Because he doesn't want to?

I'd be interested to hear Greinke's side of this, I love the dude. After he came out and said he'd sign for the highest bidder win or lose, I knew he was my guy. **** a baseball card, leave me alone. Reading an article, Diamondback fans say he was the only one signing autographs for the fans up until game time. Maybe he didn't want to sign for a grown man who also plays. Imagine how quickly we would disregard Greinke refusing to sign for a fan, but Neshek is entitled to one? He DJ Khaled played himself.

"I asked him at the all star break. I asked him a couple weeks later. After he told me no, I asked him again. After that I caught him in the outfield and told him what I thought of him. Being the socially awkward guy he is, he ran inside."

Neshek is a grade A clown IMO.

I dunno man, Grienke could've at least given a reason like "hey you're a grown man. I don't feel the need to sign for you" or hell, just do an autograph and get it over with. That being said Neshek sounds like he was hounding Grienke like a spurned guy stalks his ex after a bad breakup.

Both are in the wrong here but moreso Neshek.

Honestly, both guys are clowns. This is the only way something like this happens between 2 grown *** men. Greinke could've just marked a Z and told Neshek to GTFO. Neshek could stop being such a teenage girl about getting autographs for "his son." Players don't want their fellow players to be autograph hounds--they get plenty of that from us regular *** people. Then again, they should handle autograph requests better--it's part of the gig.

Interesting article on Lincecum...doesn't surprise me that he's gone dark. I miss having him in the game. I'll be honest, I took him for granted...expected we'd see him dominate for a decade or more. It's a shame he broke down.

Isn't that basically the Astros stadium. Looks nice though. Way nicer than Suntrust.

Read the article on Lincecum earlier. Crazy how the dude's totally fallen off the grid. He was always a bit of a weirdo. Can't say I wouldn't do the same if I had that much money.

Gosh, why won't these teams create a unique field. I've said it before but I'd love to see an OF wall that was straight from foul line to foul line but with a gradually hightend wall as it gets to CF.

                    That's my Blzr idea.

Speaking of SunTrust park, I recall some flak here about extended betting from 1B end dugout to the 3B dugout.

I'd expect every team to have this in 3 tears.

Gonna be funny to see what The Planners come up with when someone gets hurt outside of their protective netting.

That would be really tough...baseball requires for the minimum distances down the lines to be 325' and CF to be 400'. In order for CF to meet the 400' requirement the lines would darn near 600' or so. Would be a weird configuration for sure though...

Aren't there quite a few stadiums that don't meet those requirements?

It's going to happen someday. No opinion on good or bad. It just feels like we are closer to it than further away from the concept.

If the little girl from yesterday had a worse result, baseball would be fast tracking major changes.
