This 2 teams publicly sniping at each other over stealing signs is a really bad look for baseball. I hope Manfred does something to handle this so these little tiffs don't keep flaring up.

I guess Manfred should tell every team's broadcasters to stop doing that then.

This is just childish tit for tat between the Sox and Yankees. Hopefully Manfred can put a stop to this.

That's old news. My post was in response to this:

Angels catcher Juan Graterol stood by his assertion that A's batters were peeking back at his signs to the pitcher during Wednesday's game.

That's not news. It's West coast. We got Yankees and Boston to talk about.

The Braves, with the Marlins in town for a four game series, extended free tickets to Florida residents displaced by Irma.

            Very nice of them.

Then played Rock You Like a Hurricane during the game last night.

In their defense, it is an amazing song though.

Longtime scout Mel Didier passes away at aged 90

He was truly one of the great scouts and characters of the game with connections to the Expos and in his later years, the Blue Jays. He had a lifetime in baseball and even gave the Dodgers the scouting report that helped lead to Kirk Gibson's memorable HR off of Dennis Eckersley in the '88 World Series.

So, I've never heard this before, but it occurred to me after drafting A.J. Pollock in my fantasy franchise and seeing he wears number 11 what his nickname should be.

Surely this has been a thing before right?
