Well speak of the devil Stynes just knocked J.J Davis in. Bumpes his batting average up to a whopping .143

Jose Castillo just knocked in another 12-2

And with Meadow batting here in the 9th he's going to get an oppertunity for a save in a blowout

And Tike finally got off the schnide, though he did drive in two runs on sac-flys earlier.

Well gotta hand it to the Bucs hitters they showed up today and really broke out. Even though they did great I think the Cubs pitchings staff was the MVP for the Bucs. They had 11 walks and just kept putting them on the bases.

Ugg 4 errors not a great game. I know it was really bad and windy so not the best indication of the defense but there still were some ugly plays.

Benson looked good. He didn't give up any earned runs and had a pretty good day. The only problem was he threw too many pitches and was laboring trying to get guys out. He was up over the 110 mark last time I checked in the 6th or 7th. Still a good outing though.

And the player of the game....Chris Stynes here's to leaving 6 men on base but you did drive one home

Hey guys! Just posted, but lost it. My connection hung...

Anyways, good seeing the ol' Bucco gang back! I'll be posting regularly.

And, yes, Pitt, that WAS indeed Boehringer striking out the side!

Karlos, since Pitt has dibs on the Brian Boehringer Fan Club, you can start the Chris "Why do I stand this way?" Stynes Fan Club.

                  Joeboo, who would you like?

As for me, I'll take Kris Benson. I'm looking for him to just keep pitchin' baby. All the way outta town. Maybe a Benson-Kendall-Fogg package?

                  I'll keep checkin' back.

Always nice to see another Pitt fan join the party. We may be able to acually hold conversations now

As for the club I already am starting the "Kip Wells for 3rd base cause he can hit better than any of our other options" club. I sure hope Mac jumps on the bandwagon.

I'd also like to start the "Just Start Mackowiak, Davis, and Wilson, Dammit!" petition. I have to feel for J.J.Davis. He tears the cover off the ball in spring training, fights to make the team since he's out of options, and he gets rewarded with a grand total of 5 ABs in 7 games

Lloyd, until further notice, put Davis in RF, Wilson at 1B, and Mackowiak at 3B. This gets Davis some ABs and gets Stynes some team-friendly bench time.
