If I was an MLB gm I would stay away from any long term contracts for any pitcher. It never seems to work out.

Says he's going to try and pitch through it this year and see what happens. Figures if he goes in for TJ surgery at this point then he'll miss the entire 2016 season anyway so he's going to give it a go and play through it. The worst that can happen is that he aggravates the tear and still goes in for the same surgery anyway.

AJ Griffin left yesterday's start with shoulder pain.

Jarred Parker, scheduled to rejoin the big club this month, left tonight's rehab start after throwing a wild pitch and going down in extreme pain holding his elbow.

If anyone's keeping talleys, he's trying to come back from his 2nd TJ.

No bueno.
